- Lady Bears season ends in second round of penalty kicks.
The Lady Bears hung tough with the visiting Unionville through 80 minutes of regulation, 30 minutes of overtime and one and a half rounds of penalty kicks before falling to the Indians 2-1. See related story in The Mercury.
- Lady Bears seeded for District tournament.
The Lady Bears were seeded #14 at the district seeding meeting this morning. This seeding will have the Lady Bears hosting #19 seed Unionville on Tuesday October 25th at 7:00pm in the stadium. Come out and support our girls!! Click here to follow the tournament.
- Lady Bears honor 5 Seniors.
The Lady Bears hosted the Phoenixville Phantoms Wednesday evening in a non-league matchup and honored seniors Alyssa Stahl, Maura Crits, Courtney Bower, Shannon Pierce and Cindy Taylor with a 4-2 victory in their last regular season game. The JV also came away with a decisive win beating their opponents 5-0.
- Lady Bears defeat host Spring-Ford in overtime.
The Lady Bears visited the Spring-Ford Rams on Tuesday evening and completed regulation time tied at 1. The overtime goal was scored by Meghan Fisher on a penalty kick to give the Lady Bears the victory in their PAC-10 matchup. The JV played Monday afternoon and lost the match 2-1 on a late goal by Spring-Ford.
- Lady Bears split matches with Owen J.
The Lady Bears hosted the Wildcats of Owen J Roberts Thursday night and split the matches with the Varstity team losing 5-0, and the JV team defeating their opponents 2-1. Goals were scored by Sara Bennett and Tori Fox. The Lady Bears will host Penncrest on Saturday at 3:30 in a non-league matchup.
- Lady Bears defeat Pottsgrove, Lauren Brant collects a hat trick.
The Lady Bears hosted Pottsgrove and again improved their record with wins for both the Varsity and JV teams. The Varsity team defeated their opponents 8-0 on goals by Lauren Brant (3), Meghan Fisher, Lindsey Crits, Briahana Renninger, Morgan Guest and April Agresta. The JV team defeated their opponents 3-0. The Lady Bears will host the Wildcats of Owen J on Thursday Oct 6th under the lights. JV @ 5:30, Varsity @ 7:00pm.
- Lady Bears defeat Perk Valley in Saturday matchup.
The Lady Bears hosted Perkiomen Valley on Saturday and improved their record again with a win for both the Varsity and JV teams. The Varsity team scored two goals to defeat the visiting Lady Vikings, while the JV won their game 3-0 on a hat trick by Lyndsey Babilon. Next up for the Lady Bears will be Pottsgrove on Monday Oct 3rd at 4:00pm.
- Lady Bears defeat Upper Perk 1-0.
Karli Nester put the Lady Bears on the scoreboard early in the game with a goal on a direct kick from outside the 18. The goal proved to be the game winner as the Lady Bears held on to win the divisional cross over game against a tough Upper Perk squad. The JV team lost 1-0 to their hosts in another close contest.
- Fisher gets hat trick in Lady Bears win over Lansdale Catholic.
Megan Fisher scored 3 goals while Lauren Brant added 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the team past the visiting Crusaders 8-0. Karli Nester also added a pair of goal and Alyssa Stahl added one for the Lady Bears. Courtney Bower and Melissa Fluharty combined for the shut out. The JV team finished at a 2-2 tie on two goals by Sara Bennett. Next up for the Lady Bears will be Upper Perk on Thursday 9/29 at Upper Perk.
- Lady Bears split in round-robin at OJR.
The Lady Bears participated in a round-robin this weekend facing Villa Maria on Friday night on the turf at Owen J Roberts and returning Saturday night to face the Wildcats in a PAC-10 matchup. The Varsity defeated Villa Maria 2-0 on Friday while the JV had the night off. On Saturday the Wildcats scored in the first minute to defeat the JV team 1-0, the Varsity team lost 4-0 in a hard fought battle. Next up the for the Lady Bears will be Lansdale Catholic at home on Tuesday 9/27 @ 4:00pm.
- Lady Bears host Spring-Ford, add another win!
The Lady Bears hosted the Rams on Wednesday night at Memorial Stadium under the lights and in the rain but ended up winning the Varsity game by a score of 5 - 1. Goals were scored by Meghan Fisher (3), Karli Nester and Kerri Wasson. Courtney Bower and Melissa Fluharty kept the net for the Lady Bears. The JV game ended in a tie as Spring-Ford converted on a late penalty kick to even the score at 2. The Lady Bears are off until Friday Sept 23rd where they will play a non-league game against Villa Maria at Owen J Roberts High School at 6:00pm. They will then return to OJR on Saturday to face the Wildcats in their league matchup also at 6:00pm.
- Lady Bears visit St. Pius, grab win!
The Lady Bears visited St. Pius on Tuesday and added a win for the Varsity team by defeating the Winged Lions 7-0 on goals by Meghan Fisher (2), Lindsey Crits (2), Alissa Stahl, Maura Crits, and Katy Christy. Courtney Bower and Aly Reitmeyer combined for the shutout. The JV team lost 1-0. The Lady Bears will face Spring-Ford tonight at home, JV game at 5:30, Varsity at 7:00pm.

first defeats.
The Lady Bears visited
Bishop Shanahan on Saturday in a non-league contest and were handed their
first losses since begining the regular season. The Varsity team lost 1-0
while the JV team lost 2-0. Next up for the Lady Bears will be the Winged
Lions at St. Pius on Tuesday 9/13 at 4:00pm, followed by Spring-Ford at home
on Wednesday under the lights. JV at 5:30pm, Varsity at 7:00pm.

The Lady Bears hosted
Phoenixville on Friday afternoon and again posted wins for both the Varsity
and JV teams. The Varsity team came from behind late in the game to beat the
visiting Phantoms 3-2 on goals by Megan Fisher (2) and Keri Wasson. The JV
team posted a 5-0 win with goals being scored by Sara Bennett, Steph Higgins,
Lyndsy Babalion, Jess Wilhemy, Nikki Neubauer, Nikki also had an assist. Other
assists were tallied by Kelly Reilly (2) and Kellyann Fluharty.

The Lady Bears visited Perk Valley yesterday
to open the regular season and posted wins for both the Varsity and JV teams.
The Varsity team won 1-0 on a penalty kick conversion by Erin Eddinger and
the JV team won 3-0 on goals by Sara Bennett (2) and Tori Fox. Next up for
the Lady Bears will be Phoenixville at home on Friday 9/9.
