The only coach the Lady Bears have ever known, Bill Goddard enters his 11th season at the helm. Since starting the girls soccer program in 2001, Goddard has taken the program from a 1-15-0 team in its first season to a 17-4 record, the 2009 PAC-10 championship and a quarterfinal run in the PIAA District 1 Class AAA tournament. Goddard has been named PAC-10 Coach of the Year three times (2003, 2004 & 2009), was named The Mercury Newspaper Girls Soccer Coach of the Year in 2009 and has led Boyertown to the PIAA District 1 Class AAA tournament in each of the past six seasons. Goddard's teams have compiled a 103-76-4 career record. Goddard's prior coaching experience includes stints as varsity head coach of the Brandywine Heights boys program (1999-2000); assistant coach and goalkeepers coach at Emmaus High School (1998-99); Emmaus High School boys varsity assistant coach (1997); and varsity assistant coach and goalkeepers coach of the 1997 state champion Emmaus girls soccer team. Goddard has his USSF "B" License, as well as his NSCAA National, Regional and State Diplomas. He is married to wife Renee, and has three daughters -- Ashley, Brittany and Courtney. |

Kathi Mikell |

Kathi Mikell enters her sixth season with the varsity program after spending five years as the head coach of the Boyertown Junior High East girls program. Mikell's coaching experience also includes stints with the Boyertown Soccer Club, the Hempfield Soccer Club and the Fairfax United Soccer Club. Mikell holds her NCAA "C" License, as well as her NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma. She is a 1991 graduate of Division I George Mason University where she played soccer for the Patriots. She is also a 1987 graduate of Lake Braddock High School in Burke , Va. and is married (husband Ray) and has two children, Raelynn and Tyler. |

Tim Raub enters his fifth season with the Lady Bears, and third as the junior varsity coach. Under his direction, the JV program has posted a 25-4-1 record, including a 14-0-0 record in 2009, in which the team allowed just 20 shots on goal and one goal and outscored their opponents 55-1 to post the programs first-ever undefeated season. Raub is also a coach with Berks Ajax FC, and previously served as goalkeeper coach with Wyoming Valley SC. Prior to coming to the Lady Bears program, Raub was a sports writer for The Mercury Newspaper, where he covered, among other things, boys and girls high school soccer. He was named the 2005 Media Person of the Year by the Southeast Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association, and previously served as league coordinator and director of officials for Kutztown University's indoor and outdoor intramural soccer leagues. Raub also spent two seasons as a coach for the U16 Terminators boys travel soccer team of the Wyoming Valley Youth Soccer Association, and is a 2001 graduate of Kutztown University where he earned a bachelor's of arts degree in English/Professional Writing. Raub is a 1995 graduate of Dallas High School in Dallas, Pa. Raub and his wife, Tara, live in Stowe. |
